Our Choir

Easter Choir 2016 —   1st ROW: Herm Schuster, Diane Gates, Erin Grainger (Choir Director/Music Director), Alice Drislane, Dianne Kaseoru, Kaylie Collins, Martha Maxfield. 2nd ROW: Bill Maxfield, Laurie Ledoux, Ellen Read, Stephen Hunter, Kathy Sargent. 3rd ROW: Wade Smith, JoAnn Chambers, Lawrence Bruce, Susan Bruce, Linda Smith.

The Adult Choir rehearses each Wednesday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM, in the Fellowship Hall of the church.  All singers are welcome to join our choir, if you can carry a tune.  We have singers who sight read music well, and some who don’t, but who are able to remember parts and pitches.  We offer music at various sections of the worship service and usually a special anthem selection that reflects the Lectionary Reading of the day or theme of the season.  We offer music of ALL genres – from Classic to Contemporary, from “Go-To-Meetin'” tunes, to Gospel, to give a rich experience for the congregation and for us singers.

“I Love You, Lord, and I lift my voice to worship You, O my soul, rejoice.  Take joy, my King, in what you hear.  May it be a sweet, sweet song, in Your ear.”
